Overview
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory condition of the airways that leads to reversible and episodic troubled breathing. The cause of inflammation is unknown, but it’s thought to be due to a variety of genetic and environmental factors.

3. Difficulty breathing
Triggers of Asthma
1. Cold air
2. Exercise
3. Foods
4. Allergens in the air
Treatment of Asthma
Various medications such as airway dilators and steroids can be used to treat and prevent episodes. However it's important to identify triggers whenever present to limit the number of attacks.
