i don’t know how to stop feeling like i hate myself

    A spiritual guide of mine in recovery said to me because I sure sound a lot like you…and I left a lot of broken relationships and on and on behind because of it. Well what she said that gave me a big pause button is “While your thoughts and feelings may be justified, and I think they are, perhaps you should work on your presentation.” When I remember it, it works. Gives time to think which is often enough before I hurt someone or myself (like say something spiteful or worrying to the other person.). I get irritable and quick tempered when I am depressed. And critical and judgmental. Of me and of others. Maggie who is new here and really needs it.
